PYS Igatpuri: "Sacrifice All In The Quest Of The Divine" Two Silent, Week-long retreats for Kriyabans, April & May 2024

"Penetrate your consciousness through the star into the kingdom of the Infinite." - Sri Sri Lahiri Mahasaya

We rejoice in the privilege of hosting two special, silent, week-long retreats for Yogoda Satsanga Kriyabans at Paramahansa Yogananda Sadhanalaya in Igatpuri in the months of April and May 2024: "Sacrifice All In The Quest Of The Divine".

In Gurudeva's "Autobiography of a Yogi", there is a passage where Mahavatar Babaji said to Sri Sri Lahiri Mahasaya, "He who vows to sacrifice all in the quest of the Divine is fit to unravel the final mysteries of life through the science of meditation." During these special retreats, let us devote time to "sacrifice all in the quest of the Divine", practicing Guru-given sadhana with love, devotion, intensity, sincerity, joy and enthusiasm.

In the words of our former President and Sanghamata, Sri Sri Daya Mataji:

"
Paramahansaji said: "I am not bound by this body. Someday, when my body will be no more, I shall be happy to watch you from Spirit. I shall see how you are growing spiritually, and how this work of the Gurus is unfolding. I am the ever-living Spirit, undying; and I shall be watching over you with a million eyes."

"Gurudeva used to say: "My interest is to strive to awaken in every soul who crosses my path the one desire to commune with God." This is the meaning of Self-realization: the ability to commune directly with God. It can be done, not by keeping our consciousness always involved in the five senses, in perceiving this external world, but by shutting off the sense telephones and learning to commune with God in the temple of silence within."

May we receive inner help, spiritual motivation and progress, gained through the practice of Guru-given meditation techniques, and may we yearn to deeply seek the Divine.

Divine love and best wishes.
