We are happy to announce the dates of the Easter retreat at Paramahansa Yogananda Sadhanalaya in Igatpuri and invite you to participate in the same.

Easter Retreat details

Dates: 11a.m. on Friday, March 29 to 12 noon on Sunday, March 31, 2024

(The retreat will conclude at 12 noon on March 31st in order to enable those who wish to return by the 12072, Janshatabdi Express train, which departs from Igatpuri railway station at 1:08 p.m. for Mumbai. Devotees will have sufficient time to attend the closing satsang, have lunch and depart to the Igatpuri railway station)

Devotees may plan to arrive earliest by March 28th, Thursday morning.
Participation in the full retreat is essential; part participation will not be possible, which please note.

Eligibility: Yogoda Satsanga Lesson Students only

Accommodation Facility: Single occupancy

Highlights: Easter Sunrise meditation at the “Wishing Well” on Easter Sunday morning.

Our retreat facility is available on a donation basis. We appeal to all retreatants to kindly donate generously as our Sadhanalaya is sustained only by the retreat offerings of participating retreatants.

Words of counsel from our blessed Gurudeva:

“God is behind everything. You should understand the importance of cultivating divine friendship with Him, and of not wasting any more time. One by one we leave this earth. But there is nothing to grieve about; we fall back on the same bosom of Spirit whence we came, and then rise from it again into another life, like waves on an ocean....

“So many years have gone from our lives already. And only so many years, weeks, days, and hours are left for some of us. Don't waste time. Night and day in your heart say: “Lord, I want You.” Never be insincere about that. Never reason: “Tomorrow I will love God. Today, let me have a good time.” Always say, “Today, my Lord, today I want You.”
